Home Methodology Data Compilation

After our systems have passed a rigorous validation process, the next step is to feed it with real information.
In this stage, PAASEL works under two paradigms for data compiling, both are complementary and give us powerful tools to get a successful compilation.
|
|
-
Field researching. When there is no information PAASEL uses statistical tools to collect it. These include:
-
Sampling. For big populations is important to compile information from selected samples which should avoid skewing previously stored data.
-
Instruments design. If information is compiled through surveys we have to design a questionnaire that gives us reliable information. PAASEL has successful techniques for field researching.
-
Using databases or pre-existing data files. Databases or files are used when organizations have information for feeding their system. PAASEL has enough experience using information from public and private sectors.

|
In both paradigms it is necessary to design and implement capture processes which feed the new system. For this purpose PAASEL has a specialized area of web developing that implements information systems on the web or intranets.
